HILTON = QUALITY DESIGN/BUILD IN THE METHOW VALLEY, GRAND TRAVERSE AND LEELANAU COUNTIES

about us

mikehilton.jpgMike and Hilton Construction have been creating 'green', modern dwellings since the year 2000.

He grew up apprenticing in his uncle's fine wood working studio and received a degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University. He studied architecture abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy through Texas A&M's College of Architecture. Mike continues his professional development by studying both modern and traditional Japanese building techniques.

Mike has in depth knowledge and experience with additions, renovations as well as new construction. He works closely with many architects as the builder they go to early in the design phase.

Both clients and architects appreciate Mike's knowledge of the building process and his ability to create the vision from a plan set. Mike's experience as a masterful builder, his command of architectural and engineering drawings and his friendly communication style give him the expertise both clients and architects are seeking in their contractor of choice.

Mike and his family spend time enjoying the mountains and creating delicious meals together. Mike's secret talent is preparing mouthwatering, hand-thrown pizzas.

Mike has also played major roles in several performances at The Merc Playhouse including 'The Old Man' in A Christmas Story and 'Marcellus' in The Music Man.
